Artistic Director & CEO
Mikala began dancing at age 10 after her soccer coach encouraged her to improve her footwork. She attended her first audition that same year for a Christmas production at Missouri State University where she was "discovered" by the Credo Dance Academy and offered a scholarship to train in ballet, lyrical, and tap. She never returned to soccer. By age 12, she was en pointe and dancing on scholarship with Tennessee Dance Arts Conservatory in Nashville, then with Stegmann's Dance Academy (also in Nashville). She began as a teaching assistant in Nashville where she worked with beginning dancers. She continued dancing with studios and in semi-professional performances in Maryland and China. After moving back to Missouri in 2011, she joined the Dance Company of St. Charles and trained with Tracy & Debbie Davenport of Performing Arts Centre. While at PAC, she completed seven levels of Ceccehetti in three years. In 2015, she relocated to Texas to start a freelance career in dance and to train with Susan Trevino, director of Joffrey Ballet-Chicago's San Antonio division. After making her professional debut as a guest dancer with Ballet Hispanico de San Antonio alongside professionals from San Antonio Ballet, she founded Ballet LeCroix and set up Bravura Dansu Productions to tutor dancers who wanted classical training no longer emphasized in studios or colleges.
Currently, Mikala is attending Texas Woman's University in Denton where she is double majoring in kinesiology and dance/theatrical arts. She will pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Choreography & Photography
Gianna began dancing at age three when she attended a summer intensive in Arkansas for beginning hip-hop and jazz. Gianna had her first solo as a ballerina in Nashville when she was eight years old. She has studied all dance styles but prefers tap, hip-hop and lyrical because they are more expressive than other dance forms while also retaining classical technique standards. Her teaching career began with Mommy & Me classes when she was 12 years old and she choreographed her first dance that same year. Today, she works as a freelance dance teacher for a variety of organizations. She will graduate high school early in 2019 and then plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in Literature, with a minor in Theatrical Arts.

She has also served as a Children's Minister on three church staffs, as the Director of Dramatic Arts for two churches, and as a missionary in China where she taught English and drama. She joined with her daughters to create Bravura Dansu Productions in order to preserve the joy and beauty of artistic expression from the violence, morbidity and mediocrity that threatens to destroy Dance Arts.
In addition to her office responsibilities, she teaches classes in theatre and general etiquette, resume creation and job hunting skills, marketing for freelance dancers, dance history and culture, and scriptwriting for the stage. She also helps with costumes, lighting, sound, and technical direction.
